Our surgeries were performed on October 20, 2008, with great success and overall results. Mike has lost 105 lbs. and I have lost 53 lbs. to date. We have not encountered any problems in our recovery process. We were given very clear and concise instructions for post-surgery and Dr. Huacuz and staff followed-up with us, religiously, to ensure that we were progressing, well, and didn’t have any lingering questions or concerns. From the moment we landed in San Diego until we flew out 7 days later, our experience with Dr. Huacuz and his Team (Victor, Rosa, his entire nursing staff), was one of complete care, with great compassion from all and extreme knowledge and professionalism.

Hi my name is Stephanie and approximately two months ago I had the Lap Band procedure. This procedure has helped me to lose weight and it has helped me to feel better about my self , I feel more comfortable with what I see in the mirror.

I used to weigh 253 lbs and now I'm 165.3 lbs, the best of all is that I'm Happy because I can live a normal life, just like everybody else. I can exercise, run, swim and play without feeling a thing.
